Northville MI project

Wood Plans Woodworking Carpentry Download
Ive been working on the Northville, MI project. The trim is all painted, and Ive started installing some of the crown and lower trim. Here are some before and after pics of the trim in the Master Bath. Once the bathroom trims are done, Ill be installing shadowbox trim in the dining room and also the main entryway. Crown molding can be very attractive when its done right. A few tips: when coping an inside corner, make sure that you back cut as deep as possible - this will get rid of the extra "meat" of the trim that can make your corner appear awkward. Also, caulk all corners and the top and bottom of the crown - this will make for a smooth flowing appearance!
